Swandive Theatre Co. was born out of Atlanta’s vibrant improv community. We started as a small collective of performers who believed in the magical creative properties of Improv and that it isn’t just a performance style, it’s a way to create space, trust, and connection.

We want Swandive Theatre to be more than just a stage. We dream of a place where artists of all stripes can play, experiment, and grow. A place where beginners can take their first leaps, where seasoned performers could sharpen their craft, and where the community could see just how much possibility can come out of a blank stage.

That’s why our tagline is Scrappy with Purpose. We embrace the scrappiness of grassroots theatre. The duct tape sets and the willingness to (Swan) dive headfirst without a net. But behind the scrappiness, there’s intention: a belief in creativity as a force for connection, growth, and joy.
